WEDNESDAY 22nd June - 15.45 pm
we are pleased to inform you that the leak on Main Street was fixed earlier this afternoon and the water supply has now been restored to our site. During the course of the day we have been in touch with Anglian water and have now put contingency plans in place to ensure that school are informed the minute the supply ceases to the site in the future. We have also organised another source of mains water for the school should this happen again.
As we said earlier, we did not take the decision to close lightly. But unfortunately with no running water, we would have put staff and pupils' health at risk if we had done so.
We look forward to welcoming all of the pupils back to school in the morning at the normal time and apologise once again for the disruption that todays closure has caused.
The school provides outstanding care, guidance and support for its pupils. The depth of teachers' knowledge of each pupil is impressive and the promotion of the self- worth of each individual, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, is at the heart of the school's work.
